First Flush TeasThe Winter period in Darjeeling traditionally lasts from November to March. It is a dry season and the tea bushes, pruned at the end of the previous year are dormant without foliage. As the rains arrive around the end of March the first leaves of the year begin to appear. This is Darjeeling's First Flush famous for its light bodied liquors and exceptional aromatic qualities. The teas from this season offer a vast selection of perfumes and flavours within the distinct flavour characteristics of the Darjeeling District.
